Directions
FERRUM D Gentile, Delsbergerstrasse 177, 4242 Laufen
The workshop is located in the large main industrial building on the "Birsmill" site.
The workshop is located in Laufen/BL, 15 minutes from Delémont /SO, 30 minutes from Basel Stadt, and approx. 1h30min from Bern, Zurich & Lucerne.
The nearest train station is Laufen BL.
By car
From Zurich, Zug, Lucerne it is best to take the highway in the direction of Basel and follow the signs for Delémont - Route 18 - until you reach Basel. As soon as you have passed through Laufen, there is a bridge on the left which leads to the industrial area "Birsmill"... The entrance to the workshop is in the large building on the left-hand side, by the ramp (staff entrance). Please ring the bell at FERRUM D.
Some navigation systems recommend the route via Balsthal (on the highway take the turn-off towards Bern and then at Oensingen)... Even if the route is shorter than via Basel/Delémont, the driving time is longer. For motorcyclists, however, the route via Balsthal (Thal Nature Park) is highly recommended - as it is relatively winding and exciting.
From the Bern side, the route via Balsthal is the quickest - in winter or in poor road conditions, it may be advisable to drive to Balsthal in the direction of Moutier and then Delémont. From Delémont it is just under 15 minutes to the workshop.
Parking spaces are available directly in front of the workshop. (by the ramp)
Public transportation
The nearest S-Bahn/ICE train station SBB is in Laufen BL.
The nearest bus stop (Bus 118, from Laufen BL, SBB) is "Delsbergerstrasse" and is only 700m from the workshop. There are two bus stops from Laufen station.
