Knives / Swords / etc.

When purchasing physical products such as knives, swords, etc. via the online shop, you have a 14-day right of return.
If the product does not meet your expectations, you can return it in its original condition.
You are responsible for the return shipping costs.

A refund of the (full) purchase price (excluding shipping costs) is ONLY if the product is returned in an undamaged, unused condition!

If the product shows traces or damage caused by use, a refund – possibly a portion of the amount – is possible only at my discretion.

Excepted from this: Should the product be damaged during shipping from me to you – i.e., arrive damaged, the product will of course be replaced with a new one, repaired, or the amount refunded at my discretion! In this case, please contact me within 7 days at the latest after receipt! 

 

Forging Courses

Booked courses can be rebooked (date changes) or canceled directly in the system within a useful period.
In case of unfounded, short-term cancellations or no-shows, there is no right to a refund.

Date changes
After the definitive booking (invoicing, the invoice serves as booking confirmation), courses can usually also be rebooked.   Rebookings can also be made directly by yourself in the course portal. Paid courses must be taken within one year, otherwise the course entitlement may expire. Other deadlines are also possible here by arrangement.
Date changes can also be made directly in the course portal within a period of 2 weeks before the start of the course.
Short-term postponements can be made by arrangement.

Course / Event Cancellations / No-Show
If a definitively booked date (invoicing / online booking) is canceled by the customer, this must generally be done at least two weeks before the start of the course, but no later than before the invoice due date. In the event of cancellations less than two weeks before the start of the course, a refund is generally excluded. However, the date can be rebooked by arrangement. If no postponement is reported and the participant(s) do not appear, there is no possibility of a refund of the amount. In this case, the course is considered „Attended“. In special cases (family emergency, accident, etc.), an exception can of course be made and a new date can be arranged).

 

Vouchers

Purchased and paid vouchers are generally non-refundable.
Upon agreement, the validity of vouchers can be extended, or they can be exchanged for other goods of equivalent value (e.g., a knife equivalent to the voucher's value instead of a course).

If there is a valid reason (e.g., serious accident or death of the beneficiary) for a requested refund, please contact me to discuss an individual solution.

 

Refunds

For returned items, a refund of the purchase price will only be issued after the item has been returned and inspected.
A full refund (excluding shipping and credit card fees) is only possible if the item is in its original condition and after inspection!

You will be informed by us via email after receipt & inspection of the return.

The refund usually takes place within 30 days. If the payment was made via credit card, the amount will usually be refunded to the card used - this is done directly by the payment platform (e.g. Stripe).

If the item was paid for by bank transfer or TWINT, the refund will be made to your bank account or via TWINT (only for Swiss customers).
Refunds to foreign accounts: We are not responsible for any bank charges and exchange rate losses!

 

Delayed or non-executed refunds

Please note that there may be delays, especially with refunds to your credit card, as this is processed via a payment platform.
For bank payments, please check the incoming payments carefully before contacting us about a missing payment.

 

Returns

Rücksendungen müssen an die Werkstattadresse erfolgen:  {physical address}.

Of course, you are welcome to drop off the item personally in the workshop - Please arrange an appointment in advance!

You are responsible for the shipping costs as well as for secure packaging for transport. We do not assume any liability for lost shipments or transport damage of returns. Shipping costs will not be refunded!
We recommend a return shipment with appropriate insurance coverage and a tracking number.
