Knives / swords / etc.

When purchasing physical products such as knives, swords, etc. via the online store, you have a 14-day right of return.
If the product does not meet your expectations, you can return it in its original condition.
You are responsible for the return costs (shipping).

A refund of the (full) purchase amount (excl. shipping costs) is ONLY possible if the product is returned in an undamaged, unused condition!

If the product shows traces or damage caused by use, a refund - possibly a part of the amount - is only possible at my discretion.

Exception: If the product is damaged during shipping from me to you - that is, if it arrives with damage, the product will of course be replaced by a new one , repaired or the amount refunded at my discretion! In this case, please contact me within 7 days of receipt at the latest. contact at the latest! 

 

Forging Courses

Booked courses can be rebooked (rescheduled) or canceled directly in the system within a reasonable period of time.
There is no entitlement to a refund in the event of cancellations at short notice or no-shows without good reason

Rescheduling
Courses can usually be rebooked after the definitive booking (invoicing, invoice is considered booking confirmation). You can also make rebookings directly in the course portal. Paid courses must be attended within one year, otherwise the course entitlement may expire. Here too, other deadlines are possible by arrangement.
You can also postpone dates yourself directly in the course portal within a period of 2 weeks before the start of the course.
Postponements at short notice can be made by arrangement.

Course / Event Cancellation / No-show
If the customer cancels a definitely booked date (invoicing / online booking), this must generally be done at least two weeks before the start of the course, but at the latest before the invoice due date. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the start of the course will generally not be refunded. However, the date can be rebooked by arrangement. If no postponement has been notified and the participant(s) do not show up, there is no possibility of a refund. In this case, the course is considered "attended". In special cases (family emergency, accident, etc. an exception can of course be made and a new date agreed).

 

Vouchers

Purchased and paid vouchers are generally excluded from reimbursement.
By arrangement, the deadline for vouchers can be extended or an exchange for a different value of goods (e.g. a knife worth the value of the voucher instead of a course) can be made.

If there is a valid reason (e.g. serious accident or death of the beneficiary) for a desired refund, please contact me to discuss an individual solution

 

Refunds

Returned items will only be refunded after the item has been returned and inspected.
A full refund (excl. shipping costs, credit card charges) is only possible if the item is in the original condition and after inspection!

You will be informed by us via e-mail after receipt & inspection of the return.

Refunds are usually made within 30 days. If the payment was made by credit card, the amount is usually refunded to the card used - this is done directly by the payment platform (e.g. Stripe).

If the item was paid for by bank transfer or TWINT, the refund will be made to your bank account or via TWINT (Swiss customers only)
refunds to foreign accounts: We are not responsible for any bank charges or exchange rate losses!

 

Delayed or non-executed refunds

Please note that there may be delays, especially with refunds to your credit card, as this is processed via a payment platform.
For bank payments, please check the incoming payments carefully before contacting us about a payment that has not been found.

 

Returns

Rücksendungen müssen an die Werkstattadresse erfolgen:  {physical address}.

Of course, you can also return the item to the workshop in person - please make an appointment in advance!

You are responsible for the shipping costs as well as for secure packaging for transportation. We accept no liability for lost consignments or transport damage to returned consignments. Shipping costs will not be refunded!
We recommend a return shipment with appropriate insurance cover and a tracking number.
